With another song by Chicago on my top 5 pieces of music, you may tell I definitely favor them, but there's just something spectacular about them that everyone has to like. In the song "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" on the band's first album, it's the main song that sets the tone of their groups career. The classic brass section that they have separates them from any other competition, as no other popular songs from the 60's and beyond featured such a unique brass section like they did. But, as the brass section is in almost every song of theirs, the story behind the lyrics is what makes it so great. The main lyric asks the question that the 60's was defined on. Many people of the time were always scrambling to make that money, instead of realizing that they all just needed to slow down and appreciate all the great blessings that they had since, after all, there were bodies over in Vietnam fighting and dying for our country.
